GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN - JAMALIAH @ SUROP BT RAMPOT
AL-FATIHAH
My Mother, Jamaliah @ Surop Rampot, died of illness on the early Friday morning 2nd April 2004 at the age of 69 years old. We in the family used to call her “Abu”.
What a precious Abu we were blessed to have! She loved the whole family with an intense mother’s love that under girded us every day, and still does.
Our Abu was a simple woman. She was not well-educated, nor wealthy. She had come through many trials and personal difficulties in her life. But, she was good and kind and giving. She put herself out for others, especially her family. She was transparent and honest (that’s why some people took advantage). There was not a hint of duplicity in her.
Abu was also wise. She could see through the antics of her children and grandchildren, and was never hesitant to reign them in when needed. She understood the hurts of life that take a toll upon the human soul, and was a wonderful counselor to many who asked her advice about hard things.
It was from you-Abu that we first learned

TO IMAGINE
TO BELIEVE
Abu, Thank you for our life, we will always miss you and love you!!!
